Eastern Iowa Outfitters

We at Eastern Iowa Outfitters strive to provide you with the hunt of a lifetime. As one of the state's largest cattle and row crop operations we have thousands of acres of land that spans multiple counties. We are literally overrun with deer and you can't make a turn anywhere without seeing a herd of deer! The deer are ravaging our crops and eating us out of house and home! We have thousands of deer on our farms and we are looking for some great white hunters to come assassinate our deer. You provide us some cash to help us offset the price of us feeding the deer all year, and in return we will provide you with the opportunity to harvest a buck of a lifetime on our private land. It's a win win for everyone! We understand that when you draw the coveted Iowa tag you have high expectations and we want to exceed them. Being an outfitter for over 18 years now we have put a lot of smiles on some pasta loving faces. In order to put our hunters on giant bucks each year we have to enforce a strict minimum gross score that allows the younger bucks to live. The minimum for a buck with an 8 point frame is 140″ and a buck with a 10 point frame is 150″.

Archery

Our Archery Hunts are 6 or 9 full days and begin late October each year. We have a few openings for 2024. Starting in 2025 we will offer 2 bow hunts that are 7 full days.

Gun Season

Iowa has two gun seasons in December where you can hunt with a shotgun, muzzleloader, or straight wall cartridge rifle. The 1st Gun season is 5 days and we will hunt mornings in the timber and on food plots in the afternoon. The 2nd Gun season is 7 days of afternoons only hunting on food plots.

Late Muzzleloader

We offer one Late Muzzleloader hunt that begins right after Christmas each year. This hunt is 7 days of afternoons only hunting over food plots. Hunters arrive the afternoon before the hunt to get settled in and shoot.
